I came across this cartoon and it made me smile. It reminded me of a conversation I had the other day when I pointed out to someone that what they said or maybe their attitude could have been misconstrued. It is so easy for us to know what we think and believe but sometimes the way we put that across is not always clear and so people very often get the wrong message of what we are really saying.
Also I think that sometimes our opinion of ourselves is not what others see in us.
Another picture to make you smile. It depends on who is looking and what their own opinions are. Maybe we don't think that we are awesome but the way we walk, talk, look can give a wrong impression. So often how we see ourselves is not how others see us. Sometimes this can be because they are not accurately informed or maybe they just have certain prejudices without actually being aware of them. (as in the first photo)
This seems to be the best policy as we can't please everybody all the time. The trouble is that so much of our lives seems to be taken up with trying to do just that.
