There will be no blog post today. My son Martin and his wife Lisa yesterday travelled to Paris to celebrate her birthday and go to the U2 concert this evening. Then as you will all know there have been many killings, bombings and a hostage situation. They have been in contact and are safe but as you can imagine, my mind cannot concentrate on anything else at the moment until they are safely back home.
If you are the praying kind, please remember Paris today. #JesuisParis

Thanks Joanna. My son texted me last night to say they were ok but that the situation was serious and chaotic. They were due to go to U2 concert tonight but it has been cancelled. Poor Lisa, what a birthday celebration! But at least she lives to celebrate another birthday, some didn't. They planned to return on Tuesday so will keep to that unless the situation gets worse and they're advised to leave early. Thanks again for your concern.
