The following
photographs were taken only hours apart.
The first ones are of the sudden hailstorm that we had yesterday at
around 4 pm. I heard something lashing
against the window and when I looked I saw enormous hailstones and the ground
was covered. This together with thunder
and lightning was quite out of season.
Then at 9 am this morning the same place was flooded in beautiful spring
sunshine while only a couple of hours later the clouds began to gather threatening
rain. In the end it didn't rain but it
was quite windy and very cold. There is
truth in the saying 'what a difference a day makes!'.
Only about three weeks
before we were basking in summer temperatures and yet here over the past two
days we have had extreme cold and strong winds but also sunshine. No wonder we Brits are always talking about
the weather! But such a difference in
such a short time. That about sums up
life, I guess.

Rain for us too but while you may have been basking in sunshine we still had cool temperatures and snow on the ground. At least the snow is gone except in the very shadiest of areas and now we just have wet stuff not white fluffy stuff
Hope you get decent spring weather soon.
